"It talks!!"

Flesh regenerates over the animal's skull, but much to your surprise, you find your own face staring back at you while attached to this horrid abomination. "How cute! Come here, little guy!" the creature says with a voice identical to your own. "I won't bite, I promise. Rhahahahahaha!!!" Sinister laughter erupts from the monstrosity's vocal cords.
'I must be cracking up.' you think.
"No, you aren't." the creature says. "Let me reassure you, this's all quite real."
"H. . . How can you har my thoughts? What are you?!"
"Sigh. You poor, insignificant fool; you can't begin to grasp the scale of what I am. I am life; I am death; I am sin; I am retribution; I am your greatest success, and your worst defeat. In short, dear fellow, I am eternal oblivion, the greatest parody between light and dark, good and evil, right and wrong. But you, oh mortal, may call me Gunther, and after my acquisition of this planet, Master."
"You mean . . . world domination?!"
"Blunt, but quite accurate." he says reflectively. "I appreciate that in a mortal. I think I favor you. Perhaps i'll spare your life when I begin my reign of blood. Or, contrarily, perhaps i'll see to it that you shall perish first, fast, and as painlessly as I can stand without completely stifling the inner joy I feel at watching a mortal writhe in pain before its body functions cease. I can only imagine the look on father's face when he sees i've usurped his kingdom from beneath his nose and claimed it as my own."
"Father? D...Do you mean......The Owner?!"
"Hmmm, what a drably vague title for the man who gave me life. Ahh, yes. There it is again, the bluntness I hate to love. And yes, your words were never truer. Though not in the traditional sense of the word, he is my father, and I, his son. My mother was science, and her womb, the vast glass tube which yet resides in his main lab."
You continue to stare blankly at him, this creature, in awe.
"Amazement? How typically human. I'll bet you haven't even begun to question what brought you over such rough terrain, and dangerous hillsides to this vastle in the first place. You don't even know why you're here, or for that matter, how to get back home."
"I...I.." You think for a moment. Much to your dismay, you find that his words ring true. "It's...a blur." you stammer. "Something inside me, it kept pushing until i'd made it."
"You might as well know, it was I who summoned you, using my immense telepathy. It's been me, the one who's been shielding you from my father's satellites."
"You!?!" you shout, enraged. "You're the one who's been doing this to me!! Get out of my head!!"
"You'd like that, I suppose?"
"Damn right, I would!" you bark back.
"Well then, perhaps you should know that as I soon as I release my grip, you'll become another of the mindless zombies outside, in my father's training ground. They all came here as you did, a stranger in a strange land. His technology corrupted their minds, and made them his slaves. In time, he hopes to do the same to you. But i've foiled his plans. I've chosen you as my own. So now, it is only through my will that you yourself haven't been corrupted. But...if you'd like, i'll release my hold. Choose wisely, though, and be sure you know which is the lesser of two evils before you do."
You say nothing.
